The Orion Grassroots Network?s Southeast Regional Gathering

The Southeastern United States faces multiple environmental challenges, from deforestation, drought, and development to climate change. Orion writer/activists Jan DeBlieu, Janisse Ray, and Erik Reece will take a small group deep into the territory of landscape, loss, and opportunity during this weekend workshop on the shores of Albemarle Sound at the Eastern 4H Environmental Education & Conference Center. Participants will gain new tools to enhance how they and their organizations express themselves, learn new strategies for collaboration, and reconnect to the well that powers their work. Activists, writers, and foundation representatives from around the Southeast are invited to attend.
