Critical Description of Work:
My primary concern is with the unraveling of ancient ecosystems and human cultures in the blast-furnace of the New South?s rampant industrialism, development and population influx. The nature writing I admire and seek to emulate combines lyricism with honest anger and scientific erudition with a genuine sense of the real suffering the native land continues to endure.
