Short Biography:
I am a 1971 graduate of UGA with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture. I have spent most of my working life owning and operating a landscape construction business. I live in Kennesaw, Georgia, with my wife, various dogs, cats, and, currently, hermit crabs. I am interested in anything to do with the out-of-doors except for stock car racing. I aspire to own chickens again.

Critical Description of Work:
I write largely because I feel compelled to do so; partly to tell the story of how things looked when I was growing up; partly to let folks know that there is a lot to be seen and appreciated in the natural world that is all too frequently overlooked. I also enjoy giving written portraits of people.
